MAC : VIVA GLAM RIHANNA 2

Upon seeing this in lipstick (frost finish) and lipglass colour, I knew I have to get it. It is so unique and beautiful. I always wanted some grey nude brown lipstick but had no luck with it until I saw this.. I can now layer this underneath any nude lipstick to make the perfect brown taupe nude lip colour. And I also simply adore wearing this lipstick alone top with the gloss :) The lipglass is another must buy because it is not like any other clear gloss, it is clear but has purple/blue/pink iridescence glitters but when you apply it on the lips, it gives a lot of shine and add a pink hue to the lips due to the glitters. This combo is so edgey and pretty. SIMPLY GORGEOUS.  & all the proceeds from viva glam line from mac goes to charity which is AWESOME.

This lip combo seem to be really long wearing for me, no touch up for almost 5hours except for the gloss sheen disappearing.

DUPE FOR URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTES

The Makeup Revolution Redemption Palettes are known for being dupes for the highly raved Urban Decay naked palettes. I ordered, Redemption Palette Iconic 3 / dupe for naked 3 and decided to show some swatches on my arm.

Pigmentations: It's pigmentation highly exceeds my expectation , given the price.

Longevity: With my innisfree eye primer, it last all day

Texture: Pretty consistent across the palette, soft buttery and applied nicely on the lids.

All except the first matte cream white shade which lack is a bit powdery and not as pigmented as I would like it to be.

NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow

This is a beautiful colour, perfect for everyday wear. 

I wore this almost every single day since the day i got it for about 3 weeks.

Very easy to apply, soft and long lasting power. 

This kind of eyeshadow are the ones that will let people thought you put in a lot of effort to the eyes, but in fact all you do is to sweep it on with fingers or a brush. 

Etude House: Princess Happy Ending Disney Belle Blush.

The packaging is cute and small, very compact suitable for travelling.

What makes me add this into the cart is because of how it looks inside.

The rose pattern on the blush is just too beautiful. 

There are 2 colours available : Pink & Orange.

I got the orange one because I've more pink blushes than orange ones.

This is a pretty orangey coral blush with intense gold shimmer. 

It reminds me a lot Nars Orgasm but this appear abit more orange gold due to the intense gold shimmer it has. 

Wear time : approx 2-3 hours applied lightly.

VDL- Triple Shot Tint Bar.

VDL's Triple Shot Tint Bar is known for the 1 step korean gradient lipstick.
It has 3 tiers of colours in a lipstick bullet to give the gradient lip look just by applying it.
It is actually a tinted lip balm enriched with royal jelly to keep lips moisturised and at the same time give the lips a natural gradient look. I love lipbalms. I am the kind of girl that I can forget any makeup items but NEVER my lipbalm because my lips get so sensitive if i didn't apply lip balm :(
Sometimes, if I am working for events or in a hurry, I can't possibly apply lipbalm then liptint then nude lipstick to get the gradient affect.. So I was looking for a lip product that does everything, and I chance upon this! Doesn't hurt to give it try right? So I ordered it and after trying! I love it!

Got 2 shades : Triple Burgundy & Triple Peach

Not a fan of the packaging because it seems a little cheap, but it looks fun. 

3 colours in a bullet so that when applied, it gives the gradient affect on lips. 

Triple Peach applied. 

This colour doesn't show up as orange, it is a very very natural your lips kind of colour. 

It tints the lip naturally pink. Suitable for a no makeup kind of look and perfect for school. Absolutely a favourite,

Triple Burgundy. 

When first applied it appears to be a very berry tone lip tint.

But if you were to let it settle, it turns to a bright hot pink on the lips that tints your lips for a good 3 to 4 hours even with drinking and talking without the colours fading.

Both of them applied 3 swipes. 

Overall : 

It is definitely moisturising, but it doesn't last very long in terms of moisturising the lips. Reapplication is needed.

Texture when worn on the lips are just like wearing a lipbalm.

They do however tint the lips very well. 

I will highly recommend this if you need a tinted lipbalm for fast application. Plus point is that it gives the korean gradient lip effect. :D 

LANEIGE X push BUTTON - Serum Intense Lipstick

I've always wanted to try laneige's serum intense lipstick. Heard a lot of great reviews for its moisturing properties, high pigmentation and LED affect that it gives to the lips of the wearer.

So finally when they came up with this, something more in the packaging.. I HAVE TO GET IT.

This is in the colour called Dressy Coral -Yr20

I don't see much post about this colour and this colour was the only one that

really interest me so I pick up to give you guys a swatch of it.

I also heard that this is a close dupe for YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE LIPSTICK IN #52 Rosy Coral. ( Famous lipstick of Cheon Song Yi from the Kdrama : My Love Who Came From The Stars)

However, I do not own that lipstick so I cant give you guys a side by side swatch but if you guys are interested, you can always go down to counters and give these 2 lipstick a swatch. :) 

Love the prints so much. 

It is a very pretty coral colour that leans more pink than orange-red. 

Very bright and  at the same time wearable. 

A very good perk me up colour and it also makes a very good point makeup.

Both of them applied 3 swipes. 

 Colour in real life is more bright/neon and slightly more coral-orange. 

This is a very pigmented lipstick, colour payoff is superb. It looks and felt really moisturising on the lips and it just glides on very very nicely. 

MAC- The Simpsons Collection

I  just have to get something from this collection because of the ultra cute packaging. 

I was aiming for the blush, either one of the shadow quad and 2 lipglosses 

However when i went to the counters there is no more blush and 2 of the lipglosses ( pink and purple) was already OOS. :(  So i just got 1 quad which is called the MARGE'S EXTRA INGREDIENTS which retails for SGD 77.

AWESOME PACKAGING.

 

CLOSE UP 

 Harpooned Heart (L)-Shimmery/glittery Pink Champaign 

Love this colour but not so much of the glitters because it would not make a good brow bone colour.

However this does make the perfect colour for the aegyo-sal  ( korea eyebag highlight) or inner corners of the eyes,

Sexy PB & J (VXP) - violet with a sheen

 This colour was one of the 2 shades that make me buy this palette instead of the Trillion Dollar Palette that was also in this collection. The purple is just so pretty and unique that I don't seem to have in my makeup stash. It will also be super fun if I want a pop of colour on my eyes to brighten up my days. Soft and good colour pay off as well. 

Beehive Blue (VXP) - Bright Medium Blue with a sheen

 This is the next colour that makes me have to have this palette. This blue is so bright and eye catching that I just can't give this palette a miss. Similar texture to the purple above, soft and pretty good colour pay off. 

Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner bag (F) - Deepened Purple/black 

 This one was just a little drier than the other 3 however, this colour is a black purple colour that is right up my alley. Good for contouring the eyes for a slightly deeper crease look. It looks really pretty when blended with the blue and purple.

OVERALL: I really quite like this palette. Colours are amazing, packaging is also awesome. Good item to have in the collection.
