Love the blushes Especially the dusty rose one on the left called Overexposed.! ultimate. :)

when I went to sephora at Ion and Takashimaya, this was sold out.. but luckily when I went to MBS they still have it.

A mini get-away once again! This time to JB for 3D2N!

And we actually went to have the famous Curry fish head just beside City Square but I seem to had lost the photo I took..  :(

  

TADA! THISTLE HOTEL! 

This hotel is really near the sea. Quite distant away from the crowded place, abit inaccessible 

if you do not have a car and definitely no famous food places around that are of walkable distance.. but the hotel had this svc that you can request for cabs to come to pick you up and go to places you wna go, like KSL, CITY SQ. 

So now come take a look inside the room!  

2 SUPER single bed for the 3 of us! 

Comfy & snuggly! 

Room is surprisely very clean, new and I like it a lot.

LOOK AT THE POOL! SO wna make you dive straight into the pool ! 

Quite a spacious TOILET I would say ! 

They have a separate bathtub and shower area 

This is problematic. This window thing, doesn't cover entirely down the window

so you do see the person's knee while anyone is in the toilet!!!! 

So bathing time is pretty uneasy because we had a guy sharing our ROOM! 

LOL, oh wells~ 

We went to KSL after checking in, and caught Ender's Game. Not a bad show, pretty interesting. However, i feel that the ending is a little bazaar.. and we were a little hungry so!

 Dinner/ supper  at DAMA : lok lok, abalone noodle and wanton mee!

 AND this is how we spent our first night!

5 counters for food, quite a range of variety! But I just pick my favourites..

AFTER breakfast we went back to bed all the way till lunch!  TIME TO HEAD OUT for some good food!

Really a must try! love this so so so much. Best food I had during this trip. And the food is pretty cheap! 

After that we walkeddd to a KTV ( I believe it is called Disc Laser pretty near to sentosa shopping mall )  which we sang for almost 5-6hrs? for only 10 Ringgit each which is a good deal, bad thing is the room is full of Cigarette smell. Very Very strong.  

 Dinner Time!  The famous Paper Wrapped Chicken ( 纸包鸡)

This restaurant is almost like dining in SG, prices is a tad more pricey than any other food we ate in JB 

But I must say the food is nice.

After dinner, we bought beer and head back to the hotel. Played games, had a movie marathon watching Hunger Games, Twilight & Possesion while enjoying our beerrrrr 

These are just my loots for the trip, they are very comfyyy shorts with ruffles rims! & ridiculously cheap @ 5 ringgit each! MAJOR LOVEEE

I would say this get-away is pretty relaxing! Company was fun too! :) 

Taiwan Makeup : 1028 Visual Therapy Eyeshadow Kit

As stated in the title, this is going to be swatches of the 1028 Toffee Eyeshadow Kit from Taiwan. 

This is a makeup line by one of the popular makeup artist Kevin ( 小凯时尚彩妆大师) and it is sold exclusively @ taiwan WATSONS.

There are a lot of swatches of their first Chocolate EyeShadow Kit but I don't see much of the Toffee kit. Thus, I got a friend to get this for me while he was travelling. :) 

This retails for NT499 but you might get it for NT429 (SGD18)  or NT399 depending on the discounts. 

This was said to be really creamy and worth the money, so let's take a look! 

Packaging is adorable. 

At the back they will state the regular instructions and expiry date. 

colour 1,2, 4,5 are glittery and the glitters are a bit big (esp no. 4)  and too much for a everyday look and 

it is a little gritty to me as well while i was swatching 

But colour 3 and 6, are very pretty colours that are very suitable for normal everyday look

No. 3 is glitterly as well but the glitters are smoother. 

No 6. shimmery / satin finish 

Texture :  the texture is not very very creamy as compared to UD Naked palette or any high end eyeshadow but No. 6 is indeed creamier than the rest probably because it is not glittery and has a more satin finish

Probably the chocolate palette will be better than this in terms of finish and texture. 

UPDATES: 

Staying power (with etude house proof 10 primer) : 4 hrs to still be able to see colours ( you will see a little specks of glitter here & there after 1 whole day) 

Pigmentation : 60%

Texture : No. 4 doesn't feel as gritty to me on the lids than my hand.

Overall : if you are into korean/ natural makeup ( that involves some glitters )this palette could be the one. Around the same as regular etude house single eyeshadow. 

OCTOBER FAVOURITES

ANOTHER MONTH HAS FLOWN BYYYY AND HERE ARE MY FAVOURITES FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER! 

1st up , is the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy perfume.. as you can see, i'm almost done with it. Absolutely in love with this guy right here. I bought it last december, and I wasn't a fan of it because it is quite strong compared to the Britney Spears Curious (which I had ran out of) but I just kept using it 

hoping to finish it so I can buy another one. Somehow.. I stopped using it after I got a Victoria Secret body mist - Heartbreaker which I think is sweeter and not as mature as this. And only came back for this when I brought this little guy here out for korean bbq because after the bbq I've got to go for midnight cycling ( and idw to smell of bbq)

NEXT UP : MAC cremesheen in HEART TO HEART ( 2012 holiday collection) 

I absolutely love the med rosey pink colour that it gives, puting colour back to my face after foundation! 

AND I'm also loving burgundy eyeliner these days, what I will normally do is line my eyes thicker than usual

with this eyeliner and go back and line my eye with a black liquid eyeliner ( this time thinner) so that 

the burgundy colour shows through making something different for my eye make up! 

BTW, This is the Secret Kiss Twinkle Gel pen Liner set that

comes with 5 different shimmery eyeliners : black, brown, pink, gold and burgundy 

Totally love the pink and gold for the inner tear duct area

and this burgundy wine red for my upper eyelids.

Laneige Snow bb soothing cushion is also another hot favourite staple that I cannot live without

and this is in the colour #31 Brown beige .

Colour is very pretty because it is not as greyish as compare to the etude house bright fit mineral bb cream

and it has SPF 50+ PA+++  which is always a good bonus if the sun gets too strong.

 I got this Nature Republic aloe vera gel close to the 3rd week of October and cannot stop loving the product ever since. Initially when you apply it, it is very watery and alitte sticky but it dries pretty fast and giving you the right amount of time to spread it easily over the body at the same time. It is a multi usage moisturiser for body, hair, cuticles, face and i really like it as a body moisturiser because it leave a very clean and fresh feeling after application. I think it feels like you just had a bath.!  This is also suitable for the 24/7 hot and humid weather of Singapore. Definitely get this product if you can!

close up - a clear gel 

 I grab this liptint almost everyday if I gt school or when I am going out because it just give a natural stain on the lips and it lasted pretty long as long as you do not have a heavy meal. Drinks are fine. ( EASY & FUSS FREE) But I would not recommend you guys to get it because it has a very artificial citrus smell, mint feeling upon application and it tasted bitter. So if you guys want a good milky liptint, I think you can get better ones out in the market for the same price that I got this for . (S$5.90)

a couple of secs ltr, stain can be seen. Quite pretty, natural and subtle.
